Berlin, 21/03/23 — The second race weekend of the FIA Formula 2 Championship in Jeddah is behind us - a recap

An exciting week at the fastest city circuit in the world is behind us for PHM Racing. For PHM Racing by Charouz this was the first trip to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. With a very hot 30 degrees on average, the strain on the drivers and the whole team was very high.

Nevertheless, we are overall satisfied with our performance.

With a 10th place in the Sprint Race and an 11th place in the Feature Race by Roy Nissany, we only missed out on the points twice by a very narrow margin.

Paul H. Müller: "Jeddah was the second race weekend in PHM's FIA Formula 2 history, and we are already making good progress. We are quite happy with our race pace, both Roy and Brad have shown that we are able to attack. Therefore we have to work on our qualifying speed, which prevented us from taking our first point. But I am confident that we will get there."

The next race week in Melbourne, Australia, at the world-famous Albert Park Circuit, takes place in the last week of March. There our FIA Formula 3 team around Sophia Flörsch, Roberto Faria and Piotr Wisnicki will join with the FIA Formula 2 team again.
